If you had to pick only one beheading scene as your favorite of all time, which one would you pick? Would love to see honorable mentions too. For me:

Favorite: The Affair of the Necklace
Honorable Mention: La révolution française

Can't pick... Contenders would include(but may not be limited to);

Caravaggio (2008? miniseries) https://themiscollection.com/set/Caravaggio
Saigo No Bansan/The Last Supper (2005)
Penumbra (2011)
Saw V (2008)
Tea Break (2004) https://vimeo.com/9085681

Henry VIII and his six wives 1972
Lynne Fredrick acted so well.

Vivian Pickles as Mary Stuart in Elisabeth R

Marie Antoinette in Napoleon's opening scene.
For once, the beheading is shown and not just suggested.

My favorite method of decapitation is the guillotine. I particularly appreciate scenes where the condemned woman has medium-to-large breasts and is dressed in a low-cut outfit, so that when she bends forward into position, her chest becomes visible (as in Chouas or Lola). I would have loved it if, in Pirates of the Caribbean 5, the woman who was about to be hanged (with her beautiful low-cut dress) had been placed in the guillotine instead of Jack Sparrow—and if the beheading had actually taken place, perhaps even showing her head falling into the basket. But I suppose that might be asking too much.
